PolyJet White is a general purpose, opaque bright white prototyping plastic that is excellent for a wide variety of prototyping needs. It’s a good fit for any product design requiring good functionality at an unheard of speed. The product will be produced from a high resolution process with a print resolution of 600 DPI (42 microns; 0.0017”) in the X/Y axis and a layer thickness of 847 DPI (30 microns; 0.0012”). Features include:

  • Best for designs with high feature density.
SLA White is an opaque, bright white prototyping plastic also suitable for a wide variety of prototyping needs. SLA models are ideal for use as concept models, form and fit studies, and as master patterns for a variety of molding techniques, and is appropriate for small to large product designs (up to 20” x 20” x 10” Tall). Built in 0.007” layer thicknesses. Features include:
  • Good accuracy.
  • Excellent for larger prototypes.
  • Excellent sidewall characteristics.
  • Very low deformation due to shrink.
SLS White is a white Nylon 12 plastic suitable for functional prototypes and low volume production. The technology is is appropriate for small to large product designs (up to 10” x 12” x 10” Tall). Built in 0.004” – 0.006” layer thicknesses. Features include:
  • Durable Nylon 12 material.
  • Long term stability.
  • Heat and chemical resistant.
  • Excellent choice for functioning prototypes and production parts without tooling.

Shipping Information

Our ship today promise assumes that:

  • You place your order between Monday and Friday (Friday "ship today" orders ship on Friday for Monday delivery). We also take "ship tomorrow" orders on the weekend to ship on Tuesday. Holidays may impact delivery.
  • Accurate STL files must be provided that will build properly. The correct unit of measure must be indicated with your quote. The file that you upload and quote is the file that we’ll build. Learn more about creating accurate STL files here.
  • Files cannot be larger than 100MB.
  • Smaller parts uploaded early in the day have a higher likelihood of qualifying to build today. You’ll be notified by our quoting system if your part qualifies for a same-day build.
  • We ship part(s) via FedEx overnight delivery – which is normally available within the continental United States. If FedEx overnight is not available for your area, you’ll receive your order with the next available FedEx delivery.
  • ZoomRP.com currently ships only within United States and Canada.

Creating Accurate STL Files

ZoomRP.com accepts files from any CAD package, provided the geometry is exported into an STL file format. This standard file format for the Rapid Prototyping industry approximates the surface of a parametric solid model with a mesh of triangles.

STL files are supposed to be closed and connected like a combinatorial surface, where every triangular edge is part of exactly two triangles, and not self-intersecting. Adjoining triangles must be connected to insure that slicing software produces closed 2D polygons. While small discrepancies may not impact the build of an STL file, every effort should be made to assure that endpoints of edges are adjoining.
